Story

Serial killings are shaking Tokyo

Tokyo's Kamuro district experiences the series of murders, linked by the method of death, the gouging of victim's eyes. Detective Takayuki Yagami is tasked with unraveling the mystery enveloping the unknown serial killer.
In Kamuro danger looms at every corner, and powerful Tojo clan yakuza control every inch of the district. Together with his partner Masaharu Kaito, Yagami will have to use everything at his disposal to uncover the truth.

Meet the Faces of the story

Takayuki Yagami

When Yagami was just starting out as a lawyer, he was in charge of defending a man who was arrested on suspicion of murder. Yagami successfully defended him, however, when Yagami learns that the defendant has committed murder again, he loses will to continue serving as his lawyer. After that, he ran a private detective agency. One day, he is asked to collect evidence regarding a bizarre murder case that occurred in Kamurocho.

Masaharu Kaito

Kaito is a second employee of Yagami Detective Agency and Yagami's partner. He is a blunt, brash and honest man, though he is also quite easygoing, and enjoys helping people, especially if money is involved.

As an ex-Tojo clan yakuza, he has exceptional strength and fighting skills, which he uses only when need arises. He may not be as deductive as Yagami so he relies on his physical strength to help.

Mitsugu Matsugane

Matsugane is the patriarch of the Matsugane Family, which is part of larger Tojo clan mafia. Although he is the patriarch, the influence his captain Kyohei Hamura has over the family renders him its practical leader.

Matsugane is a man who sticks to the old yakuza way of valuing reason over sheer force and violence. He also appears to be a caring person, especially towards Yagami and Kaito, whom he consider as sons.

Kyohei Hamura

Hamura appears to be a violent egotist, valuing force over reason and doing whatever it took to make the Matsugane Family successful. This makes him not above carrying out the unsavory aspects of being a yakuza.

Hamura is also a smug man, often taunting Yagami and his allies, and being uncooperative even in situations where he himself might benefit. Under all this stands his unwavering loyalty to his patriarch.

Tiger style

Tiger battle style features hand to hand combat against single opponents. Unleash furious tiger combos that devestate difficult opponents. This is Yagami's main style of combat.

Crane style

Crane battle style features acrobatic attacks from all directions against multiple opponents. Using the power of his legs, Yagami can storm waves of opponents with wide range combos.

Tokyo's famous entertainment district Kamuro is yours to explore. Filled with secrets and dangers, Kamuro is a place where worlds of rich and poor intertwine. Many gangs inhabit this part of the city, with most prominent one being Tojo clan yakuza.

Kamuro offers a variety of side activities for you to try out. Customize your drone and participate in racing championship. Visit Sega Arcade and play some retro hits. Challenge locals to a match of shogi or simply enjoy the ambient of Yagami's office with some pinball.
